The second installment of Bootie Bundle was released three days ago and was perfectly timed; #selfie is way overplayed, Calvin Harris left us craving more with Summertime and Ultra kicked off every house lovers festival season. We needed Kapslaps new mixtape to take us into summer, and everyone knows the best shit comes out now. When I finally got the chance to sit down and listen to it my buddie and I were jamming out wondering “Is it summer yet?” (get tickets for Kapslaps tour here). Kapslap is one of our favorite DJ’s to follow, since his first few soundcloud releases in 2011 to his very own tour this summer: his mashups have only gotten crisper and every drop is sharper than the last.

The duo has a self-titled EP set to release soon and first previewed the song “Sir Rock” a few weeks back. They have enlisted LA to Boulder transplant producer Kill Paris to deliver a fresh remix to their unreleased original “Silk”. The result is nothing short of incredible; Kill Paris chopped up and rearranged all the future bass and chilled out trap elements for a soulful piece of joy.
