http://www.craftpassion.com/2011/01/craft-room-organization-storage-ideas.html#picgallery Due to my sluggishness in housekeeping and bad time-management, I seldom cleaned up my craft room after each project. Also, I always start a new project immediately after one, and most of the time I am on several projects simultaneously. My hands work slower than my brain, this is the major one to blame! With so many things to do at one time, all my craft materials are all over my working space, on the table, in the drawers, on the floor and some even still in the bags of the craft store where I bought them from….. one word, MESSY!!!

House Keeping | Ribbons Storage Organizer

Due to my recent shopping and frequent trips to craft stores, the box that I used to keep my lovely ribbons is exploded and messy. I no longer can find any ribbons without have to pour everything out and de-tangle some of them. I am trying my best to keep my craft room as tidy as the one I posted here after every project. http://www.craftpassion.com/2012/04/ribbons-storage-organizer.html#picgallery

I Have Been Changed For Good

http://plays-with-needles.blogspot.com/2008/10/i-have-been-changed-for-good.html I love this song from Wicked the Musical . It speaks to me and reminds me of all the wonderful people I have met who have left handprints on my heart. Those who, having met them, have changed me..for good.

Locker Hook | Indigo Dial Trivet

http://www.craftpassion.com/2011/10/locker-hook-indigo-dial-trivet.html If you remember my recent book review and introduction about Locking Loops , you should remember Theresa Pulido, the author of the book. I have been a big fan of Theresa Pulido’s locker hook crafts & projects, and her books “Locking Loops: Unique Locker Hooking Handcrafts to Wear and Give” and Hook, Loop ‘n’ Lock: Create Fun and Easy Locker Hooked Projects are really creative and inspiring. Theresa has brought me to the world of locker hook and I love this craft ever since. Today, I am very excited and feel honored to have Theresa here to show us how to make these beautiful trivets, they are truly eye candy and perfect for your dining or coffee table [more colors on picture 2 and 3 above].

How to sew a mini bunny sachet

http://www.craftpassion.com/2011/02/sewing-bunny-sachet-pattern-tutorial.html According to Lunar Calendar and Chinese astrology, the world has entered into Rabbit year starting from this spring (立春), that’s today, February 4th, 2011. As a memento of the year, I made some bunny sachets. I filled them with silica gel (in bead form) and turn them into desiccant bags for my metal notions stored in the glass bottles. The silica bead will help in controlling the humidity in the glass bottle, hence to protect the metal from oxidation and degradation. This project is ideal if you have a lot of fabric scraps that you want to de-stash.
Jeudi 17 mai 2012 4 17 / 05 / Mai / 2012 09:32 Après ces quelques jours de silence...(très fatiguée) en ce moment. Cela est peut-être du au temps moche que l'on a en ce mois de mai ???

Gosh… I am supposed to sew some thing for the Earth Month this April, but I can’t wait to sew these sock monkeys. My hands simply took over my head and see what I did after a few days and nights of sewing…. a house full of sock monkeys!!!! Do you love them? I have seen a lot of sock monkey photos hanging around friends’ photo albums in many photo sharing websites, so envy. These sock monkeys are so cute and so adorable that I would want to hug one, I bet my kids would love to have them to accompany too when mommy is busy with works.

CRAFTYisCOOL: Wanna make a monster?

Time for another tutorial! I made this lineup of baby monsters for my Basic Amigurumi class at The Knitting Nest . I think they're a pretty good beginner project because it teaches how to start crochet in the round, how to single crochet, how to increase, and basic construction and customization of amigurumi. Let's begin, shall we?

Stuffed Fabric Turtles (with pattern pieces)

We were shopping around , down in Florida, after we went to the zoo several weeks ago ( yes, in Jacksonville…..some of you asked )……..and we stopped by a Pottery Barn Kids store. I’m a window shopper. Well, and an inspiration-seeker shopper. I love walking around and daring myself to find something I want to make.
Last year I participated in the Renegade Craft Fair here in Austin. It was so much fun and I hope I have time to do it again next year. (This year is definitely OUT--ahem...book....!) I wanted to design something with an owl since everything Renegade is represented by an owl.
