29 janvier 2010, Paris - Selon le nouveau « Global Go-To Think Tanks 2009 » de l'Université de Pennsylvanie, le classement mondial de référence portant sur les think tanks de toute nature hors États-Unis, l'Ifri, pour la troisième année consécutive, figure dans le top 10 des instituts les plus influentes au monde. Présentée lors de la conférence « World Rankings of Think Tanks » à l'Université des Nations Unies à New York le 21 janvier dernier, l'étude de l'Université de Pennsylvanie porte sur 6 300 think tanks implantés dans 169 pays. Élaboré à partir de la contribution de 1 200 experts, universitaires, décideurs politiques et représentants d'ONG, de 125 grands journalistes internationaux, de représentants de 40 organisations intergouvernementales et de 65 institutions académiques, le Think Tank Index est le répertoire mondial le plus complet.
