Ce que désigne le doigt dans l’instant présent, a une forme, une taille, des couleurs ; c’est un élément du monde, avec un âge : il est apparu un jour et disparaîtra un jour. Pointez maintenant vers le sol. Ce que vous voyez a encore une forme une couleur ou des couleurs, une taille ; vous désignez un objet du monde (un tapis, un plancher…) semblable à des millions d’objets de cette sorte.

Pointez maintenant le doigt vers votre pied. Pointez maintenant votre doigt vers votre cuisse : même schéma encore : taille, forme, couleur. Maintenant, attention, avec la plus grande attention, pointez l'index de votre main droite dans votre direction, vers celui qui lit ces pages en ce moment, c'est-à-dire vers ce qui se trouve au-dessus de vos épaules, exactement comme le montre la photographie ci-dessous: -Que voyez-vous dans la direction du doigt dans l'instant présent?

In sum, there are two huge things: 1- I have gotten rid of an epic amount of shit. 2- I then moved 3,000 miles away across the country to Seattle. Yeah! (*but you only have to do it once.) It’s been a little over a year since I got really interested in owning less and wanted to see what it’d be like to live with minimal belongings. In the 3 months before I moved to Washington, I spent enormous amounts of time sorting through belongings and getting rid of as much as possible. Now that it’s all said and done, it feels so damn good to have gotten rid of so many damn things. To give you an idea, I got rid of my… car: this was a biggie! Disclaimer I: I don’t really own 100 things or less, literally. Disclaimer II: But I’ve yet to count what I own. (Also, one thing that I should mention i.e. What I REALLY Use In Day to Day Life.
