It's almost over, right? Um, no, sorry. I still have no time estimate, or specific date I am shooting for. 4/13 would be the COOLEST date to shoot for, right? I doubt that's realistic though. What is the status, then? Homestuck probably needs another month of writing before I can start making panels. Kickstarter - Speaking of the game, I sent out a backer update just before the newd year. One question I feel like I should answer out in the open even though I kinda thought it was obvious (there is no such thing as obvious) since I see it come up so much: yes, you will be able to purchase the game, even if you did not back the Kickstarter!

The Homestuck Kids are the four main characters of Homestuck: John Egbert, Rose Lalonde, Dave Strider, and Jade Harley.
Their counterparts after the Scratch can also be considered part of the Kids. These are child versions of their ectobiological parents. They are: Jane Crocker, Roxy Lalonde, Dirk Strider and Jake English. Introductions and Habits Each kid in Homestuck is introduced in a similar, albeit unique manner based on several factors. Guardians. Not to be confused with First guardian.
Guardians are a concept in Homestuck. Each of the eight Homestuck Kids has a unique Guardian that watches over them in some form, is related to them Ectobiologically, or both. They are typically drawn with minimal facial features, though this is purely stylistic. They all singularly raise their respective children without outside help for unknown, possibly coincidental, reasons. In addition, Guardians can never be told what to do. The original four characters in B1 revealed to be Guardians were referred to in the narrative strictly by a three-letter word describing their relationship to the child (Dad, Mom, Bro, Bec). Colonel Sassacre (and to a lesser extent, Halley) can also be considered the Guardians of Nanna and Grandpa (pre-Scratch), and Grandma and Poppop (post-Scratch). List of Guardians Edit. Trolls. They are humanoid and approximately the same age as the kids.
They have gray skin, orange eyes with gray irises (according to Vriska, these fill in with the troll's blood pigment as they age , this has been shown with The Condesce . Sollux and The Ψiioniic are an exception in both regards.), pointed teeth, yellow nails, black lips, and black hair. Their most noticeable features are the horns sprouting from their heads, which resemble candy corn. Each troll is connected to one of the signs of the Zodiac. The trolls have been pestering Jade Harley for years now and have even forced John to change his Pesterchum handle. Ancestors. For the pre-scratch versions of the Ancestors, see Pre-scratch trolls Ancestors are a concept in troll society. They are historical figures who lived centuries before the set of twelve trolls who are followed in Hivebent. Each ancestor is said to be a close genetic match to a particular troll, and young trolls believe that they are supposed to find clues about their ancestors.
