Wedding Makeup Tip: Better Than Waterproof Mascara. I’m going to say this upfront: I have no idea what mascara this bride is wearing. I was on the lookout for some pretty eyelashes and she fit the bill. I tried to find a picture of myself wearing the mascara I’m going to tout (keep reading), but as it turns out, no uber-close-up, lash-centric photos of me exist. I’m not sure why this surprises me. And on to mascara. I don’t know whether any of you have experienced this particular plight, but I was deeply unhappy with my mascara for years. I was introduced to Blinc mascara by a makeup stylist when I was a bridesmaid at a friend’s wedding. Of note, if you’re into super-dramatic eyelashes, this probably isn’t for you. On a side note, the lady who did my makeup for the wedding, Sherrie Long, had to schedule us early so she could do Evan Rachel Wood’s makeup for an event.
