Όπως και έφτιαξα και γλυκά – εκτός των κλασσικών κουραμπιέδων & μελομακαρόνων – και βέβαια μαγείρεψα για το γιορτινό τραπέζι την δεύτερη μέρα των Χριστουγέννων. Ένα γλυκάκι που έφτιαξα δυο φορές σε μια εβδομάδα ήταν η Τούρτα σοκολάτας με κρέμα κάστανου. Την είχα στα υπόψη βέβαια. Στολίστηκε με ζαχαρόπαστα και χρυσά αστεράκια (βρώσιμα). To δεντράκι το έκανα με τις οδηγίες της Νίκης Έδεσα και μια κορδέλα να γίνει δωράκι. Υλικά 500 γρ. κρέμα κάστανου 200 γρ. σοκολάτα κουβερτούρα 200 γρ. μαργαρίνη (ή βούτυρο) – και λίγο για την φόρμα 6 αυγά 100 γρ. αμυγδαλόψυχα (ασπρισμένα αμύγδαλα, αλεσμένα σε πούδρα) 3 κουτ. σούπας αλεύρι ½ κουτ. γλ. μπέϊκιν-πάουντερ.
