Documentation about Dutch art forms the nucleus of the collections. The RKD has an active collecting policy covering painting, drawing and sculpture as well as monumental art, media art, and design. You can consult our collections of visual, technical and press documentation as well as the library and archival collections in our study areas. Parts of the collections can also be accessed via online databases; if you are planning a visit to the RKD, you may find it useful to consult these first.
