Mit den 180 Stück bin ich ja nicht hingekommen. Zuerst habe ich noch 60 Stück dazu gemacht und dann nochmal 26 Stück. Da war es dann genug. Hier liegt sie schon auf dem Hotelzimmer. Der Rand war ziemlich einfach. Ich finde das Ergebnis kann sich sehen lassen. Und ich freu mich, das ich noch vor Ostern fertig geworden bin. Bis bald und falls ich vorher nichts mehr posten sollte, wünsche ich euch allen ein schönes und sonniges Osterfest.
Lisa. (1) Pin by Debbie Anderson Nolen on Crochet Clothing. My First..... .....crocheted cardigan!!!! Well to be technically correct, it's not my first attempt to crochet a cardigan. Oh no, no, no. It's actually the fifth, but the other four never made it to the sleeves they went so horribly wrong!!! I even tried knitting a cardigan, but I suck at knitting, so my knitting project was axed quite quickly - simple as that. Finally, I found this pattern on ravelry (don't you just L♥VE that site???) As you can see, I decided to only do the pattern around the yoke of the cardigan. Oh and at this point have decided against sleeves. Now, if you contemplating a crocheting a little bit of woolly goodness to wear, I highly recommend this pattern. Please let me know what you honestly think. Now all I need is some cool weather so I can wear it and if I don't fall out of love with in the meantime, then I will definitely make another.

I love hexagons and decided to come up with my own pattern. Each one only takes a tiny amount of yarn, so I can use all of these little balls Materials Yarn of your choice (I used worsted weight) Size G (4mm) hook Yarn needle to weave ends Measurements about 3.25 to 3.5 inches (depending on your tension) Pattern (US terminology) Ch 4, Join with sl st, forming a ring Round 1: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 11 Dc into the ring. Round 2: Ch 3, dc in same st, ch 1, (2 dc in next st, ch 1) around. Round 3: Sl st over to the first ch-1 sp. When sewing together, whipstitch into the back loops of the hexagon. I like to use the tails of the work for sewing.

La puntilla que he hecho es muy sencilla. La segunda vuelta es de punto bajo en color marrón. Y la última vuelta es de punto cangrejo en color caldera, pero entre punto y punto cangrejo dejaba un punto bajo sin coger para que quedara la hebra mas larga. Do you remember this project from my UFO unveiling? Well, I realised the reason that I wasn't getting on with it, was because I wasn't completely happy with the colours. It looks good (I think), but when I laid it on the sofa it is intended for, it sort of just blended in a bit too much with the colours in the sofa, as the colours are quite close in value as is on the sofa. Soooo..... I undid all the outer rows, and redid them in whitish. Now it really lifts the sofa when I place it on it. Now Im happy. By the way, Im doing this one in an acrylic yarn from Spotlight (in Australia).

As with any family with young children, we experience constant change and growth, and yet at the same time so much about us also remains the same.
Pretty much every single holiday we take in Dorset begins the same way :: a 300 mile, 5 hour journey, arriving just before midnight. A quick chat with my Dad before ushering us all straight upstairs and into bed, so that we'll be ready to hit the ground running the next day. This is the harbour at West Bay where I spent the first ten years of my childhood holidaying with Grandparents (we lived in London then) and the second ten years of my childhood living and growing up.
