Walonick, originally printed in Borderlands (Vol. XLVI, Nos. 3&4, May – August 1990) There is evidence that ELF magnetic waves can affect brain waves. This set of experiments was designed to study the effects of ELF rotating magnetic fields on the brain. The specific ELF frequencies I was interested in studying are 6-10 Hertz. A question of importance is: “If we can electronically shift the brain wave frequencies to alpha or theta, will a person’s moods or thought patterns change to those commonly associated with those frequencies?”. When I began these experiments, I was well aware of the possible ethical implications involved in ELF research. I decided to undertake this research with full knowledge of the ethical implications. A Way to Peace through ELF Waves. Transcribed by Elaine Peick from a talk given by Dr. Andrija Puharich at the Understanding Convention at Astara, Upland, California, Nov. 6, 1982; with Clips, Quotes, and Comments by Riley Crabb to conclude — from Journal of Borderland Research (Vol. 39, No. 2, March – April 1983) Dr.
Andrija Puharich was born in the slums of Chicago, Illinois. He learned about war there, as there were many ethnic groups in his area, and boys had to fight their way through them, frequently. As a teenager he delivered milk for Borden’s Dairy; and, as a substitute for the regular milkman during his vacation, he had to quickly learn where to put the milk, where the mean dogs were, etc. He was fascinated with the results of using his mental energy on attacking dogs and resolved to identify the force behind it. It was about this time that friends introduced him to the Alice Bailey books, including the one on “Telepathy”. This research went on between 1950 and 1955. Continuing his experiments Dr.

ACOUSTICAL FAQS AND TUTORIALS. LRAD Corporation. Long Range Acoustic Device - LRAD. LRAD – is a long-range hailing and warning, directed acoustic device designed to communicate with authority and exceptionally high intelligibility in a 15-30 degree beam.
How LRAD Works" In November 2005, pirates attacked the cruise ship Seabourn Spirit off the coast of Somalia.
The pirates were in a small boat, but they had machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades. The cruise ship, on the other hand, had a Long Range Acoustic Device (LRAD). Psychology and the Music Producer – an audio engineer often has to do it all. Jon Marc Weiss is an accomplished recording engineer, studio designer, and musician with over 20 years’ experience.
Echoes’ Andre Calilhanna sat with Jon to talk about being both an engineer and producer, some of the tricks of recording a good performance, and how to handle things when they start going off the rails. Is it common to have a person who is solely acting as a music producer on an independent music production? In higher level projects, there is going to be a record producer, and the producer is going to talk to the artist and act as a liaison with the engineer. The audio engineer is going to do very little communication with the artist. But there’s not always a producer, even on some bigger projects. A lot of times the producer is the artist, and sometimes they want to make all the decisions, they don’t look for any advice from the sound recording engineer.
