Fernanda Maria Suppicich grew up in the small town of San Antonio de Areco located 68 miles from Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. She moved to Buenos Aires to pursue her bachelor's degree in occupational therapy. During the last year of her academic program, the University of General San Martin developed a scholarship program for students interested in studying internationally.
