Ultimate Guide to Recycled T-Shirt Crafts" You probably have a favorite T-shirt. You know the one you've worn until it's holey and ragged. Maybe it's from your first concert or your favorite vacation spot. Maybe it's your team's old logo, or a college favorite from decades ago. Either way, you can't bear to part with it. The flip side is that you probably also have a drawer full of T-shirts that you never wear. A great compromise for all those T-shirts is to recycle them. This article will show you just a few of the many crafts you can create from your recycled T-shirts, from pillows to rags to rugs. So before you sneak off and throw away your family's aging T-shirts, consider the crafting potential. My Bandana Skirt - Also My First Skirt. HAV-A-HANK(c) Skirt! ......yes, the logo is printed on my butt....

Ive been meaning to do something with a bunch on bandanas for awhile now.but always thought they looked a little....cowboy-ishbut with the new thing being those weird shorts made of two different types of plaid....i figured id give this a shoti bought the bandanas back a few months ago, for a swap, but i ended up using different material...so, without further ado; (the cat wouldnt move)its a pretty square skirt. with just a hint of shaping so that it stays on me. the only thing is, im short...and i sortof overestimated the length....so i have two action shots....normal length: keep in mind im only 5 feet tall.....and then the rolled up versionthat i will probably make this skirt permanantly look like: yes, also, as the title said, i did end up with a few "HAV-A-HANK(c)" logos on my butt what do you think??

In the wild wonderful world of crafting you know these are our way of life, in spite of what the mega big box craft stores would like us to think. So this week I set a goal: what can I do with only thrifted pre loved m aterials? Second hand stores are gleaming with craft finds like retro sewing patterns, stacks of fabric, old curtains, sheets and clothes. Clothes that not even your grandmaw could love anymore…but what if all these things could be reconstructed into something new? Once you begin deconstructing fulgy clothing you will find that all the supplies you need are right there! My first project was this strapless sun dress, which started out as a clogger riverdance puff sleeve frill collared mess.

Share your reconstruction ideas here, and if you have cool pictures of your eco construct email us at kelly [@] importantmedia.org so we can ogle your skills and feature our favorite one!
