Mission Founded in 1956, the Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts makes project-based grants to individuals and organizations and produces public programs to foster the development and exchange of diverse and challenging ideas about architecture and its role in the arts, culture, and society. Grantmaking Focus Architecture and related spatial practices engage a wide range of cultural, social, political, technological, environmental, and aesthetic issues. We are interested in projects that investigate the contemporary condition, expand historical perspectives, or explore the future of architecture and the designed environment. We support innovative, thought-provoking investigations in architecture; architectural history, theory, and criticism; design; engineering; landscape architecture; urban planning; urban studies; visual arts; and related fields of inquiry.

Avec le soutien du Ministère de la Culture de la Croatie, du Ministère de la Culture français, de la Ville de Zagreb, de l’Initiative Centre européen, de la Fondation Anna Lindh et de la Fondation Kultura Nova – le FRC organisera une plateforme d’échange intitulée « La réalité des mobilités culturelles entre les Balkans, l’Europe et le monde arabe ». Cette réunion aura lieu à POGON, Centre pour la Culture indépendante et la Jeunesse - Zagreb, Croatie du 8 au 9 mai 2014. La plateforme d’échanges du FRC vise à explorer le contexte actuel de la mobilité artistique et culturelle entre les deux régions (Balkans et monde arabe). Plus spécifiquement, la réunion de Zagreb nous permettra de poursuivre la réflexion engagée à Belgrade lors de l’atelier de travail qui s’est tenu le 11 septembre 2013[1].
En permettant le voyage et la rencontre des acteurs de ces deux régions nous ouvrons des espaces de dialogue où des partenariats durables, fondés sur des affinités, peuvent émerger. Appel - 2012.
