Direct inquiries, abstracts, and full papers for this issue to: Special Issue Guest Editor, Christine Greenhow, Research Fellow, University of Minnesota Assistant Professor, University of Maryland, College Park (August, 2010) Email: greenhow_christine@hotmail.com or greenhow@umn.edu Issue Focus: The issue will focus on learning and literacies (e.g., information literacy, new literacies, etc.) with social media such as social network sites, where learning is defined as formal, informal or non-formal learning within or across a range of disciplines and educational settings. By no means exhaustive, papers might address the following questions: • What is the nature and depth of individual and distributed “learning” through these social media spaces? • What learning paradigms and theories should we borrow, or build upon, to understand learning with social media?
