Barney’s, the renowned winner of multiple “High Times Cup” awards, is now Amsterdam’s most original and futuristic coffeeshop. We’re back at the 500-year-old landmark building on Haarlemmerstraat where it all started 23 years ago, and after extensive renovations, our re-designed interior is more comfortable than ever. What hasn’t changed is the friendly, knowledgeable service that’s made Barney’s famous among travelers and locals alike.
I was always told if you to Amsterdam go for a barnies breakfast, so after an epic walk i did, the breakfast was well over priced and the welcome was not the best, getting hassled for ID before we even got to sit down was not fun on an empty belly. Although the smoke was good but that buzz was soon killed when the chef came to collect the plates and questioned me about why i left my beans (that i didnt ask for) he didnt seem to happy. Place seems more of a local place than a place for tourists as friends who have just returned form a trip there with the same kind of stories
