first image rita is a montreal, canada based multidisciplinary design studio which works with graphics, products and furniture design. while their ‘folder chair’ isn’t a mjor innovation in folding chair design, the studio has cleverly added small tabs to the seat pans to make the chairs look like document folders. one chair on its own is an open folder, while stacking the chairs creates the effect of a file drawer. the simple text adds the finishing touch and can even be used to signify who the chair belongs to. http://ritaritarita.ca more

first image designer irina blok has created the world’s first analog photoshop frame. the wooden frame is a 4x5 inches and features the familiar mas os x photoshop interface details. the front is decorated with the scroll bars and interface elements, while the backing is covered in the signature grey and white checkerboard pattern. the frame adds a humour touch to any picture inserted inside. no word yet on a physical toolbar for editing your printed photos. irina originally handmade a limited edition of 50 frames, a second edition is now available through photojojo . http://www.irinablok.com <p style="text-align:right;color:#A8A8A8"></p>
