The 100 Best Online Education Resources - Education - GOOD

http://www.good.is/post/the-100-best-online-education-resources/ With the amount of education resources online expanding at warp speed, figuring out which sites are high quality—and truly useful—is quite a challenge. Fortunately, the folks over at Mashable have separated the wheat from the chaff for us with their just-released list of 100-plus online resources that are transforming education. To make it easy to figure out which resource will best suit your needs, the list is conveniently broken down into nine distinct categories such as "collaborative learning," "learner tools," and "live training and tutoring." In particular, the "online content" section features some truly innovative resources that make knowledge accessible to anyone with an internet connection. Content libraries "created for career inspiration ( dailyendeavor.com , TryEngineering.org )," are highlighted as well as new entries into the high school content realm like neok12.com and aventalearning.com .

Did you disagree on some point I made ? I hope you didn't take my color sound research too literally . It is more of an art project and a brain research project not to be taken too literally . by mirlen101 Feb 25

I'm not sure anyone can control the internet at this point or in the future . They can control some of it but people will always be able to find ways around . Chaos before control so chaos always wins or at least is one step ahead ;-) There is more misinformation then true info on the internet for sure . Truth is somewhat in the eye of the beholder though ;-)
I'm not sure if you can find the original pearler of a particular pearl , only the pearl>trees of individuals .
I'm not sure why you would want to. Unless you thought that that pearler had more related info . Better then to just take the title and do a pearltree search for the subject and who has pearled that subject . It would give you everyone that has that pearl . But not the first one to have the pearl . by mirlen101 Feb 25

@mirlen101. Very interesting points you raise here. I think this is the strength of the interent as well as it's greatest weakness - the lack of scrutiny and control over information - it will be interesting to see in the coming decades what censorship policies governments will attempt to bring in place and how the people will react to it. By the way do you know how to tell who the original pearler of a pearl was/is.?? by alexispearls Feb 25

The Online Waldorf Library

This site has been created to provide useful information to English speaking Waldorf teachers, parents, homeschoolers, and anyone interested in Waldorf education. Our aim is to make visible all the appropriate resources on Waldorf education that are currently available and to provide information about where these resources can be purchased or obtained. The heart of the site is the Search feature. This database includes all the existing resources about Waldorf education that people may be looking for and that Waldorf teachers may find helpful. By enabling searches based upon subjects and grade levels, we hope to add a powerful new tool to the Waldorf teacher's toolbox. Each search result will contain convenient links to vendors from whom the resource may be obtained. http://www.waldorflibrary.org/pg/home/home.asp
