Last week my personal hero, Jean “Moebius” Giraud , died at 73. There has never been a more singular influence in my work and career, and his passing has been deeply felt by the world of comics and pop art. While many in America may not recognize the name, Moebius has had a heavy hand in the direction of modern science fiction since the early 1970s, including Alien , Bladerunner and Tron .

Having a good looking outfit may sometimes feel incomplete due to the fact that fashion is not all about what you wear but more about how you wear it and with what accessories. When it comes to men, the suit can only go so far but the accessories they choose can represent their style and more important, their personality. Some would say that the simple watch is all the accessories needed by a man and that any more than that will just look bad. This has some truth in it with all the great watches that are available nowadays but this doesn’t mean that men have to limit themselves to just this item. Having a necklace is sometimes a good idea but don’t go overboard with this idea.

A Softer World
