Gathered clutch DIY. My friend has a clutch like this and I just thought it had the cutest shape!
So I decided I’d try making one myself. Here is what I did so you can make one too! You will need: 2 fabric pieces 12×5.5 inches for the outside 2 fabric pieces 12×5.5 inches for the lining (these will be for the body of the clutch) 2 fabric pieces 8×2 inches in outside print 2 fabric pieces 8×2 inches in lining print (these will make up the neck of the clutch) 1 piece of scrap fabric (either of outside fabric or a different color) 1 zipper 1 clasp Let’s get started!
Cut your fabric! Sew in the gathers. To do this, take a neck piece and a body piece (same colors) and lay them on top of each other, with the right sides of the fabric touching. Set them under your foot and sew in about an inch. Now stop the machine!
How to Crochet. The crocheted Woven Stitch is one of my favorites to use for baby blankets and afghans since it is easy to stitch, using only chain stitch and single crochet, and it works up quickly into a nice single thickness lightweight blanket.
It can be worked in one solid color, in a variegated yarn or in stripes and each combination looks great. Here's how it works: Start out with a beginning chain in multiples of 3, plus 2 extra. For the first row, skip the first 2 chains and work a single crochet into the third chain. Then chain 1, skip 1 chain, work 1 single crochet, as shown above. Denim yarn. I wanted to make something that was pretty in the same way, but wasn’t going to crumble if I used on an apparel or accessory item. This needle lace skeleton leaves method is the perfect way to create the look in a way that would hold up to a lot. They’re delicate and airy but surprisingly durable. It’s also a neat project because if you prepared a bunch of leaf templates ahead of time you could definitely make a travel kit that would fit an empty altoids box. Some of you asked me how the "dots" ( I call them "rice grains"!!!) Crochet Bowl Tutorial. Hello Lovelies, here is my photo tutorial for crocheting a bowl like the ones above.
First lets talk yarn. For this project you will preferably need some cotton yarn or similar. Stretchy or woolly yarn will not have the strength to allow the bowl to maintain its shape. This is my random selection of cottons and cotton blend yarns. I think there is some bamboo in there also. The next thing to consider is hook size.
