LOL What’s for dinner? I’m making this now, so I’m showing an older pic. Forgive me? Thanks. I’m making lasagna for dinner. Dessert I made last night. Spice cupcakes with homemade pumpkin cream cheese frosting. This is easy… A box of spice cake mix (You can use ANY box mix…not just pumpkin) with a can of pumpkin with a splash of apple cider….spice cupcakes, pumpkin style. Frosting…well, dump a brick of cream cheese, about 2tsp pumpkin pie spice, 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla and 1/4c canned pumpkin into a bowl (I added a dash of cinnamon too) and mix til whipped and creamy.

I wasn't really planning on that much of a gap between now and my last post, but I've been pretty busy with finishing up school for the year, and couldn't find the time to blog during the past week. Hopefully the fact that I'm posting a cake recipe will make up for that... As I'm sure a few of you have already noticed, I have a bit of an obsession with chocolate.

Chocolate cakes, chocolate cookies, chocolate ice cream, chocolate sauce, chocolate milkshakes... we go through so much raw cacao powder around here, it's not even funny. Every once and a while though, I get a craving for something different - which is why I decided to make a vanilla cake! I'm estimating that about 95% of the raw cakes out there are chocolate, so I thought I needed to balance that out a bit with a recipe for some kind of white cake (so now only like, 94.5% of the cakes are chocolate). 1/2 batch of chocolate ganache.
