Pues bien, viendo la cantidad de verde que nos rodeaba en esos momentos descubrí que el verde es un color que muy poca gente se atreve a introducir en la decoración de su casa.
No se muy bien el motivo, ya que ¿a quién no le gustaría tener un jardín con césped y verlo a través de las ventanas del salón? También puede ser que no os atreváis a introducir el verde en vuestra casa porque es resulte un color demasiado frío o no habéis visto muchas sugerencias sobre como emplearlo en la decoración. El verde es el color de la naturaleza y bien empleado puede ser transmisor de paz y puede equilibrar nuestra energía. Con estas pistas espero que os hayáis quitado ese miedo a decorar en verde.

Contributor post by Serena Olivieri A twitter friend told me about this lovely shop in the beautiful neighborhood of Las letras (literally: the letters, meaning humanities, since lots of spanish writers during the golden years lived there) in Madrid, so I went to take a look. I was really pleased to find in this shop a great connection between nature & fashion. Ad Hoc is the result of a mix between flower shop Vinca per Vinca, represented by Cayetana and the fashion design shop Ad Hoc, with Clara being the owner.
This collaboration started 4 years ago, they chose an old flower shop to set up their business and also kept some pieces of the vintage furniture - good choice! What I really liked was the atmosphere of the place, the scratched walls, the colours, the wooden furniture and the plants. Actually there wasn't as many plants and flowers as there usually is due to Cayetana's vacations, but if you take a look at their blog, you could see what it usually looks like!

Ando leyendo estos días un genial libro de la Editorial Temporae titulado ‘Chamberí y sus barrios’ en el que se cuenta buena parte del trasfondo histórico que guarda esta zona de Madrid acompañado de geniales fotografías. En él se cuenta un hecho que desconocía y que hoy quiero compartir con vosotros. Un secreto impactante y espectacular acontecido hace algo más de 45 años. Hoy en día pasear por la Calle Almagro es disfrutar de una arquitectura sin igual, palacetes y casas de sutil belleza, un glamuroso desfile inmobiliario que la hacen una de las calles más atractivas y elegantes de Madrid. Pero esta maravillosa vía acaparó numerosas portadas y miradas por un hecho bien distinto. Un 5 de octubre de 1967 la tierra se desquebrajó bajo el asfalto produciendo un brutal socavón de 1.500 metros cuadrados al inicio de la calle, en el tramo que va desde Alonso Martínez hasta Fernando el Santo.
