Hong Kong-listed Asia Pioneer Entertainment (APE) Holdings said it has installed a total of 50 electronic table games (ETGs) at a gaming venue called Club 99 in the Vietnamese Hurama resort of Da Nang.
The installation included several gaming products from Slovenian manufacturer Spintec d.o.o. Karma GEN2 automatic roulette, video baccarat, and multi-baccarat, according to a press release on Wednesday. APE said the product was Spintec's "first multi-baccarat" product deployed at gaming venues in Southeast Asia.
APE's core business is the distribution, sale, and service of casino slot machines and electronic table games.
According to the release, Club99 was recently renovated to mark its 10th anniversary this month. The renovated venue opened to customers on July 18.
The data quoted Vicky Chan, APE's deputy general manager of sales and marketing, saying Club99's product placement gave APE Group a "huge opportunity" to introduce its partner company's gaming technology "to a new audience."
APE wanted to maintain its "strategic position" in the Southeast Asian market through "innovative games" and "provided well-known customer service to players and created mutually beneficial relationships with partners."
APE recently deployed products including Spintec and Konami Australia Pty Ltd at Hoiana Casino Resort in Vietnam.
In May, APE reported a net loss of just HK$4.1 million ($530,000) in the first quarter, more than doubling from a year earlier. The company said its results were affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.
