I love kids and i love reading and I plan to pass this passion onto my students. I sell Mary Kay Cosmetics and love all things girly! I love to spend time with my friends and I LOVE to Travel. I plan to travel to all the continents (except for maybe Antarctica) in my lifetime, just as my Grandma Waldron did! I love to cook and paint, and i never have enough time for either. I love God. When people first meet me, their initial reaction is shock/fear/mild disgust, but when I pull a batch of cupcakes out of my “stomach” area that doubles as a warming drawer, almost everyone instantly huddles around me. It is most likely as close to a hug as I will ever get. So I always make sure to keep cupcakes with me. But these cupcakes are especially good. They are also very pretty. Tie-dye cupcakes with these cupcakes, i just wanted to play with the way they look... so i used a boxed mix & pre-made frosting. after mixing the cake up like normal, Perfect Cupcake Frosting and Filling. I always hear people say “I’m not a frosting person”. And while part of me thinks that’s ridiculous, I can understand to a certain extent when so many frosting are sickeningly sweet. I love frosting that is more like whipped cream. I used to actually fold whipped cream into classic buttercream to get that lighter texture and not so rich taste. Then I realized that I could get that same result by making it like this- starting with a white sauce. Perfect Cupcake Frosting and Filling 3 tablespoon Flour1/2 cup milk (whole milk is best, but I use non-fat when it’s all I have and it’s actually fine)1/2 cup real butter (I prefer salted, but you can use also unsalted and add salt to taste)1/2 cup sugar (that’s granulated sugar, not powdered sugar)1 teaspoon vanilla extract, or other flavor if you wish.
