Headphones News, Videos, Reviews and Gossip - Gizmodo. Dokkōdō. The "Dokkōdō" [ (Japanese: 独行道?) ; "The Path of Aloneness", "The Way to Go Forth Alone", or "The Way of Walking Alone"] is a short work written by Miyamoto Musashi (宮本 武蔵) a week before he died in 1645. It consists of either nineteen or twenty-one precepts; precepts 4 and 20 are omitted from the former version. "Dokkodo" was largely composed on the occasion of Musashi giving away his possessions in preparation for death, and was dedicated to his favorite disciple, Terao Magonojō (to whom the earlier Go rin no sho [The Book of Five Rings] had also been dedicated), who took them to heart.
"Dokkōdō" expresses a stringent, honest, and ascetic view of life. Precepts[edit] References[edit] TEFL Cover Letter and Template | TEFL Journey- jobs.ac.uk career blog. Until I started looking for a job as a teacher, I had never written a Cover Letter (is that so unusual?!). For TEFL, however, a Cover Letter is a vital part of you application. What’s the purpose of a Cover Letter? Your CV or application form should contain all of the necessary details, such as where you worked, how long you worked there for and photos and vital statistics of people you worked with.
The Cover Letter should get the employer salivating (the words, that is, not the headshot). Cover Letter: Template Dear (If you know the relevant person’s name, use it. Perfect I noticed a lot of people are favoriting this screen grab of the "Perfect" iTunes equalizer setting (I posted it to Flickr, so I won't keep forgetting it when I need it). Ever since I saw this in that Mac OS X Hints article, I've used it as my default equalizer in iTunes -- it seems to give a nice pop to MP3 tracks in particular. November 28, 2011 Some people like a quiet room with no distractions to get some serious thinking done. I’m pretty sure some of my finest epiphanies have come from Tripod Lotus. I know, call me crazy, but there is a sense of strength and security that evolves from being in this pose. Lotus is such a compact pose for the hips. It’s neatly tight up–it offers a sense of security while you can’t help but feel strong standing on your head supporting your own body weight.
Practicing this pose reminds me that I can be strong and secure–that practicing poses outside of my comfort zone frees me from fear and that the more energy I give to my strength the more powerful I make myself. Step 1: If you’re comfortable with your balance, set yourself up into Tripod Headstand in the middle of the room, or otherwise about 8 inches away from the wall. Step 2: From your Tree, slide the right foot over the left quad so the heel of your right foot is below the left knee. Step 3: It’s time to chop! Step 4:
