What is Myopia?

Facebook Twitter

Myopia, also known as nearsightedness, is a common refractive error of the eye that affects a person's ability to see distant objects clearly.

This occurs when the eye is too long or the cornea (the clear front part of the eye) is too curved, causing light to focus in front of the retina instead of on it.
