What is Keratoconus?

Facebook Twitter

Keratoconus is a progressive eye disorder that affects the cornea, which is the clear, dome-shaped tissue that covers the front of the eye. In keratoconus, the cornea gradually thins and bulges outward, forming a cone shape that can distort vision.

The exact cause of keratoconus is not known, but it is believed to involve a combination of genetic and environmental factors.
Dr. Deepak Vaidya, also known as Eye specialist in Andheri started his own practice in the name of Dr. Vaidya Eye Hospital.
