This product is a little less expensive than the top of the line automatic cat feeders, and it shows with its features. One of the down sides is that it can only be programmed for up to 48 hours, serving up to two total meals. The C20 Auto Feeder makes up for it though, by having a large serving size, giving up to one pound portions. One of the more unique features to this Cat Mate feeder is it's ice pack that can keep food fresh and cool. Most automatic cat feeders can only supply dry food, but the C20 can have both dry and wet food while keeping it fresh for up to 24 hours. It is very long lasting, guaranteed to last three years and often lasting nearly a decade. Surprisingly, it has an extremely long battery life, lasting nearly a year off of AA batteries it requires. The timers are very easy to use and are straightforward to set, although it is important to follow directions and turn the clock only clockwise to get the maximum life out of this unit. Overall this cat feeder has certain unique features that can work for some pet owners but not for others. If the features work for you, it comes at a fairly cheap price for an electronic pet feeder.
