The Sit Stand Shop Stools seat-pan is made of hard-wearing polyurethane, moulded over a steel core. The mould features a built-in hand grip, making it easy to carry. The seat is both height and tilt-adjustable, operated by separate levers. The seat tilt allows users to adopt a relaxed but upright posture when undertaking manual tasks. The Sit Stand Stool is fitted with a gas-lift cover to prevent dust from affecting the smooth operation of the gas lift. Supplied with glides for stability on level surfaces, optional castors also available. Note: Gas lift dust cover shape may vary from illustration.

The high chair back-rest supports the whole upper torso, with back-rest adjustability backwards or forwards 15 degrees from the 90-degree upright position. The mesh back-rest itself is slim-line, in other words, relatively narrow, to make it more comfortable for users equipped with thick belts or equipment webbing.
A full range of other ergonomic adjustment features are also present. Out of the box, the chair is quite straightforward to assemble.
