Wicca for the Beginner First, who we are not: we are not Satanists. We do not worship the devil. In fact, we don’t even have a devil. We are not all women, though it may be that the majority of witches are women—this from millennium of disempowerment by the male dominated Judeo-Christian tradition. We are not evil. Really, that pretty much describes us: witches are just ordinary people who use the Powers to enjoy a good life. There is no such thing as a black witch, no matter what the color of their skin. Ever mind the Rule of Three Three time what thou givest returns to thee This lesson well, thou must learn, Thee only gets what thou dost earn! Seriously, we are not dour folks. The Ways of Wicca can be divided into two acts: Magic and Devotion. In short, devotion involves a sort of union with the Powers of the Universe. If you can’t get this to work for you, don’t worry. What about Goddesses and Gods? I think you will soon find that honoring or invoking them is important to your quest. so may it be Reni

Traditional Witchcraft An Introduction to the Blue Moon Manor Trad of The Traditional Craft Traditional Witchcraft of the British Isles, more often called The Traditional Craft, makes it possible to embark on a magical spiritual personal journey that will fascinate the spirit within you and enrich your life around you by elevating your abilities, bring insight into your awareness, enable you to heal yourself and others, forge personal development and change, withdraw the veil for spiritual growth, and bring command into your life. The Traditional Craft is an umbrella term for the indigenous pantheist-polytheistic family of traditional witchcraft spiritual-magical traditions in Britain. Each group in this family is called a Trad. Our beliefs and practices date back into the time period of the Old Craft, yet they are practical and relevant to daily life. Individual older Trads are probably no more than 50 to 200 years old with practices gleaned from various gathered information handed down within families.
Welcome to The Church and School of Wicca's Homepage! Invoking and Banishing the Elements | The Hidden Children of the Goddess, don't worry, Goddess Has Your Back The Pentagram and the Five Elements When we begin a ritual and call in the Elements, we are inviting them to protect us and help us with something we want in life. For example, if I’m doing a ritual related to love, I may invoke Water because it focuses on emotions. I may want to bring passion to some situation in my life, and I would then invoke Fire. How do we invoke an Element? It involves moving your hand in the air according to that which is indicated in the below diagram. Proper invoking is easy. What this means is: you move your hand in the air (according to the diagram) in the direction of the desired Element. At the end of your ritual . . . At the end of the ritual, you will want to banish the element. To banish the element, move your hand in the direction away from that element you wish to banish. When do I use the elemental invoking and banishing pentacles? Elements can be a powerful part of your spiritual practice. Handle with care. And watch positive outcomes happen. Blessings,

Freemasonry Freemasonry is a fraternal organisation that traces its origins to the local fraternities of stonemasons, which from the end of the fourteenth century regulated the qualifications of masons and their interaction with authorities and clients. The degrees of freemasonry, its gradal system, retain the three grades of medieval craft guilds, those of Apprentice, journeyman or fellow (now called Fellowcraft), and Master Mason. These are the degrees offered by craft, or blue lodge Freemasonry. There are additional degrees, which vary with locality and jurisdiction, and are now administered by different bodies than the craft degrees. The basic, local organisational unit of Freemasonry is the lodge.
