Mojito recipe After years and years of Tequila being king (or queen) of summer in our house, things are changing a bit. At least for me. My best friends, The Casadores Sisters, might be a bit alarmed to hear this but I’ve been enjoying the refreshing taste of rum lately as my summer beverage of choice. Lamb Handi and mango lassi A few years ago, I tried the lamb handi for the first time in an Indian retaurant on the curry mile (Rusholme in Manchester, where Indian restaurants stretch on a mile of road, on both sides!). It dawned on me it was the best Indian Curry i'd ever had. BUT, never ever I tasted it that way again. So I decided that the best way to taste it again was to try and reproduce it at home. What got me in this curry is a particular and perfect tanginess, where I recognised fresh ginger, cardamon, tomatoes and tamarind (and maybe lime?).To start it off, I looked on the internet for handi, and I hardly found anything.

True Blood Raspberry Mojito « Neil's Noms It’s been quite warm here recently. Warm enough that I’ve not been sleeping too well, even with the bedroom windows wide open, and a fan on full blast all through the night. There’s no air conditioning here. What I’ve had to keep my going though is the humble mojito. I love my mojitos. I’d love to blame Bruce Campbell in Burn Notice, but I’ve been enjoying them long before I started watching that show.
