Free mind mapping (and related types) software
There are regular inquiries on Twitter and in forums about free mind mapping software, so to provide answers, InformationTamers have put together this list. We built this article, with permission, using the most complete source for details of information mapping software on the Web: Mind-mapping.org. Hat tip to Vic Gee who put Mind-mapping.org together and kept it up to date for years. [Update: I took over that site in August 2013.] Mind-mapping.org has a good capability for selecting software by map type and operating system (click on the 'Refine software list' tab at the top right of its web page), and shows the price. "Free" here is as in beer, not in freedom, though some of the software listed is open source, so is free in both senses. Cette discipline s'appelait auparavant "veille stratégique", elle se nomme maintenant "Intelligence Economique". L'idée derrière cette appellation est d'aller au-delà de l'activité du veilleur. Il s'agit pour l'entreprise de surveiller son environnement selon des objectifs définis et d'intégrer les données collectées pour les transformer en véritables informations opérationnelles. Ce processus est représenté selon le cycle ci-contre. On matérialise bien le processus partant de l'expression des besoins vers le rendu de l'information traitée aux acteurs concernés. L'activité la plus connue du processus est la recherche d'informations, mais les autres, notamment l'expression du besoin, présentent une importance capitale. O que é o Atlas de Desenvolvimento Humano no Brasil O Atlas de Desenvolvimento Humano no Brasil é um banco de dados eletrônico feito com o objetivo de democratizar o acesso e aumentar a capacidade de análise sobre informações socioeconômicas relevantes dos municípios brasileiros e das Unidades da Federação. Baseado nos microdados dos censos de 1991 e de 2000 do IBGE (Fundação Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística), este sistema disponibiliza informações sobre o Índice de Desenvolvimento Humano Municipal (IDH-M) e 124 outros indicadores georreferenciados de população, educação, habitação, longevidade, renda, desigualdade social e características físicas do território. Com uma navegação simples e auto-explicável, o Atlas permite ao usuário criar seus próprios instrumentos de análise sobre diversas dimensões do desenvolvimento humano, através de mapas temáticos, tabelas, gráficos, relatórios, ordenamento (rankings) de municípios e estados, e ferramentas estatísticas.
