LaTeX This is a guide to the LaTeX markup language. It is intended to form a useful resource for everybody from new users who wish to learn, to old hands who need a quick reference. TeX and LaTeX TeX is a computer program for typesetting documents, created by Donald Knuth. The book is organized in different parts. Overview The natbib package is a reimplementation of the LATEX \cite command, to work with both author-year and numerical citations. It is compatible with the standard bibliographic style files, such as plain.bst, as well as with those for harvard, apalike, chicago, astron, authordate. Loading Load with \usepackage[options]{natbib}. Replacement bibliography styles I provide three new .bst files to replace the standard LATEX numerical ones: plainnat.bst abbrvnat.bst unsrtnat.bst Basic commands The natbib package has two basic citation commands, \citet and \citep for textual and parenthetical citations, respectively. Multiple citations Multiple citations may be made by including more than one citation key in the \cite command argument. Numerical mode These examples are for author-year citation mode. Créer un CV élégant avec Latex et moderncv Le CV (curriculum vitae) est très important pour la recherche d’emploi et doit être irréprochable. L’un des éléments les plus difficile pour faire un CV est la mise en forme. La plupart du temps, on passe un temps fou sur Word pour créer la mise en page adéquate et on est obligé de tout refaire lorsque le logiciel change de version (j’exagère à peine).J’ai trouvé un élément de réponse à cette problématique de la mise en forme : Latex (prononcer « latèque »). Exemple de mon CV généré avec moderncv Je vous rassure, vous n’avez pas besoin d’apprendre à utiliser Latex pour faire votre CV. Installer moderncv Ensuite, vous devez installer le package moderncv. L’installation propre, au sein de votre logiciel. Pour la méthode « quick and dirty », il suffit de télécharger le pachage modernCV à cette adresse (onglet « download » sur la gauche). Bienvenue sur le site Ouaibe de Nicolas FRANCOIS Bibliography and citation style The default bibliography [\bibliographystyle{plain}] and citation [ \cite ] styles in latex are not used very commonly used nowadays. After doing a small search on the web and reading some documentation I have found some useful packages which help format the bibliography entries and the citations to the authors in the " author( year) " instead of the " [1] " fromat. Note that all the packages I will use are already in the unix servers in the Statistics Dept ( Pennstate). Citation Style In LaTeX, one can use a number of different bibliography styles. This is how the LaTeX-source might look like: Reference to a paper in proceedings [1], to an article [2], and to a book [3]. Maintenant, donnons leur des cordes de la façon suivante : si une personne a déjà rencontré une autre, on donne à chacun une extrémité d'une même corde. Par exemple, si Pierre a déjà rencontré les deux autres, mais que ceux-ci ne se sont pas rencontrés, alors Pierre tiendra deux extrémités de cordes, l'une dont l'autre extrémité est tenue par Paul et l'autre par Jacques. Si maintenant chaque personne attache ses extrémités de cordes ensemble, et s'en va en laissant tout sur place, on obtient deux cordes reliées en un noeud. Ces ensembles de cordes et de noeuds sont ce qu'on appelle un graphe. Lorsqu'on étudie un graphe, il semble naturel de vouloir le dessiner sur une feuille, de façon à pouvoir le regarder et s'en faire une idée. . Dessiner un graphe peut être beaucoup plus complexe que dans cet exemple. . Les graphes sont parmi les objets les plus importants des mathématiques et de l'informatique.
