LECTURAS SOBRE ESTUDIOS VISUALES - Syd Krochmalny | Centro de Investigaciones Artísticas Compartiremos una serie de lecturas para aproximarnos a los llamados “estudios visuales”, área alternativa a la historia del arte y a los estudios culturales, que demanda para sí un objeto de estudio y una metodología de abordaje propios. Intentaremos, en primer lugar, analizar los factores sociales, culturales, artísticos y académicos-institucionales que posibilitaron su emergencia. Luego, trataremos los enfoques y debates teóricos suscitados en torno a los estudios visuales. Objetivos: 1. Describir las causas que provocaron la emergencia de los llamados “estudios visuales” y su objeto “la cultura visual” 2. Dar cuenta de los distintos enfoques en torno a los estudios visuales 3. Para abrir puertos, se puede hacer de 2 formas, como casi toda configuración con este router: con el configurador de telefónica o por web. El más recomendado es el segundo. Ahora vamos a explicar como abrir puertos por web: Abrimos nuestro navegador y ponemos la puerta de enlace Nos pedirá usuario y contraseña. Entramos en la configuración del router: Para ir a la opción de abrir puertos, hay dos maneras distintas, según el router. La otra manera seria accediendo en Configuration -> Ports -> Advanced Nat Configuration. Lo demás es igual. Después en Add Reserved Mapping... Y a Advanced NAT Configuration: En IP Addresses, en Global, lo dejamos como está. Transport Type es el tipo de puerto. Después le damos a Add Reserved Mapping. Para poner un ejemplo de cómo quedaría al abrir los puertos del emule y algo más: Cuando acabemos de abrir los puertos que necesitamos, vamos a Configuration -> Save config y le damos a Save.

By Julie MacKenzie While Judith Butler may be recognised foremost as a theorist of gender, what is less often remarked upon is that Butler’s work on gender is firmly located within a “radical democratic” politics, and indeed that it is in the name of a notion of radical democracy that Butler’s work proceeds. This essay, then, critically interrogates the nexus of gender and democratic politics in Butler’s work, with a view to tracing the connection between Butler’s ontological commitments and her brand of radical democracy. This essay is in two parts. Troubling Gender and Ontology Butler’s work on gender forms part of an overarching theoretical project that is concerned to ceaselessly unsettle the ease with which we can distinguish between the real and the discursive.
