photo source: Houzz Earlier this year, I made myself a few goals to continue to challenge and push myself in the blog and in life. One of my goals was to expand my horizons. This could mean so many different things to different people, but one thing I’m NOT good at is adding color into my life and into my home. The same goes for my home. Well, this year, Sherwin-Williams asked me to participate in the Sherwin-Williams National Painting Week again. Red. I am not a red kind of person. photo source: West Elm When I really got to thinking about it, I found a great balance. I decided that Tanager -SW6601- is the essence of what I was looking for. Are you ready to see what I painted? Disclosure: This is part of a two post series sponsored by Sherwin Williams.

Donovan and I had so much fun teaching the very first L.W.A. Laboratory last week! We had a great group of ladies who learned the tricks and cheats to creating intersting mail art. Donovan opened the workshop with the history of mail art, but swiftly got into what the mail regulations are. No L.W.A. meet-up is complete without food or booze and we came flush with both. For this Mail Art Lab, the secret experiment was a giant pencil and everyone was so excited that this was something that could be mailed. We have another L.W.A. workshop coming up this month in Chicago that has to do with using solar sensitive paper and flowers to create custom stationery sets. Happy mail making & we hope to see you at one of our future events!
