Soft Flower-Square Bev's Soft 6" Flower Square copyright Beverly A. Qualheim 1996, 2016 This is a little tricky (at first) so I have added a few photos that should help. Each square is approximately 6" square and for an Adult Afghan you will need about 10 across and 12 down = 120 squares (60" x 96") For kids blanket you will need 6 across and 8 down = 48 squares (36" x 48")Materials for adult blanket: Size H crochet hook I used Carron 'Simply Soft" worsted weight yarn-- 6 oz skeins. 6 skeins white, 2 skeins each of light blue, light pink, light yellow, and light green (I had some let over yarn, but I never mind that, as I make mittens and baby hats from it.) Crochet Bowl Tutorial Hello Lovelies, here is my photo tutorial for crocheting a bowl like the ones above. First lets talk yarn. For this project you will preferably need some cotton yarn or similar. Stretchy or woolly yarn will not have the strength to allow the bowl to maintain its shape. The next thing to consider is hook size. This bowl is made in a continuous spiral so even though I'm writing about rounds there is no start and finish point to each round and it is important to have a stitch marker ( I use a safety pin ) to remember where each round begins and ends. This tutorial is for 6 inch bowl....the biggest size I've made (on the left in ths picture above ) At the end of this tutorial are instructions for making the smaller sizes . So lets make a start shall we. Holding two strands together make a slip knot in the normal way.... Next chain 2........ Insert hook in the first chain........ Round 1 Make 6 single crochet into the same chain. This is the end of round 6......

How to Make Simple Crochet Slippers « Crafts IMPORTANT NOTE: This pattern uses US crochet terminology. You can find the SLIPPER SIZE, YARN and HOOK specifications at the end of this article !!! (To see more of my patterns, please visit my ONLINE SHOP!) I am an addict. An addict for crochet slippers. It all began when I saw slippers similar to these somewhere on the internet. I loved them so much I couldn’t get their tempting image out of my head. All I needed was a pattern. But because I am terribly, terribly impatient, I found creating my own pattern quicker than looking for an official one on the web. And since I’m no crochet guru, the pattern turned out to be really simple. Actually, these slippers might be the simplest slippers in the universe. Or not. But they might. This is what I did… Round 1: 5 ch (chain stitch); join into ring with sl st (slip stitch) Round 2: 3 ch; 7 dc (double crochet stitch) into the center of the ring; join with sl st Round 3: 3 ch; 1 dc into first stitch; 2 dc into each next stitch; join with sl st Row 14: turn (!)

The ultimate color combinations cheat sheet Finding a correct color combination is one of the most important steps in designing a stylish and holistic look. This is why we’re offering you this cheat sheet, so you’ll always hit the bullseye when choosing clothes and interior decor. Scheme № 1: A complementary combination Complementary (also known as supplementary or contrasting) colors are colors that sit opposite of each other on the Itten color circle. The combination of such colors creates a vivid and energizing effect, especially at maximum saturation. Scheme № 2: The triad — a combination of three colors A Triad is a combination of 3 colors that are equidistant from each other on the color circle. Scheme № 3: An analogous combination This is a combination of 2 to 5 (ideally 2 to 3) colors that are ajacent to each other on the color circle. Scheme № 4: The split complementary combination A variation on the complementary color combination. Scheme № 5: The tetrad — a combination of four colors Scheme № 6: The square
