Divine Composition With Fibonacci’s Ratio (The Rule of Thirds on Steroids)

Divine Composition With Fibonacci’s Ratio (The Rule of Thirds on Steroids)
Are you a stickler for little details? Well, if you’re a photographer, you had better be. Discovering the rule of thirds is a big milestone for any photographer. Suddenly, you realize that all you ever did before was center your subject right smack dab in the middle of the frame, because that’s where the camera’s focus grid is located. Makes sense right? The rule of thirds took you to new heights in your photographic journey, moving your subject off to one side or another in your frame, or to the top or bottom. Enter Fibonacci’s Ratio… Also known as the Golden Mean, Phi, or Divine Proportion, this law was made famous by Leonardo Fibonacci around 1200 A.D. Since the Renaissance, artists and architects have designed their work to approximate this ratio of 1:1.618. This ratio can be used in many ways to compose a photograph. Video 1: Natures Number: 1.618 Video 2: Nature by Numbers Video 3: Golden Ratio Ok, hopefully that made things a bit more clear? This one is slightly different.

Vale a pena correr o risco?

Texts Time it seems is running out. The question is, will we fail it or will it fail us? In the opening hours of the new millennium Jem Finer launched Longplayer, a thousand-year-long musical score calibrated to end precisely on December 31 2999. Composed of six gradually differentiating Tibetan bell-chants, Longplayer loops spirals through its musical elements "like planets around the sun. To unravel the knot of millennial angst we must address ourselves to the question of time. Myth Time We who are riddled with the ways of linear time, take a beginning for granted, but the time of myth requires no such assumption. The structure of myth-time is not a progressive line. Critically, says Levi-Strauss, there is no original or "correct" version of a myth. Calendrical Time Yet, if myth embodies a time, it is not, in itself, a record of time's passing. No culture has embraced the idea of calendars more ardently than the Maya, a people whose temporal imagination is almost staggering in its fecundity.

Gostou desse artigo?

Jungian Dream Interpretation by Celeste Adams, with Gordon Nelson, PhD Our dreams are layered with meaning. Both personal and transcendent, dreams tell us about ourselves and take us on a journey through space and time. As Carl Jung discovered, they also contain archetypal images that connect us to the collective unconscious. According to Jung, "The dream is a little hidden door in the innermost and secret recesses of the soul, opening into that cosmic night which was psyche long before there was any ego consciousness, and which will remain psyche no matter how far our ego consciousness extends. ... Dream Diaries Jung wrote his dreams down, carried them around with him, and lived with them. Jung felt that Keeping track of our dreams was of crucial importance. In my interview with Gordon Nelson, PhD, head of the Jungian Institute of Los Angeles, he said that Jung recorded his dreams every day of his life. Nelson said Jung felt dreams were given to be shared. In writing dreams down, Jung recommended that people attempt to interpret them themselves. Dr.

A eterna e inútil discussão | Joan Costa Read in spanish La eterna e inútil discusión —O Design é arte? —Pois vamos dar-lhe a volta. —Sim. —E o que é o essencial? —Isso mesmo.

Camera Shooting Modes - How to Understand the Camera Shooting Modes on Your DSLR Understanding camera shooting modes can make a real difference to the quality of your images.
