KM models
In this section I will examine three knowledge management (KM) models that take three very different approaches to KM. The KM Process Framework by Bukowitz and Williams (1999) This KM model depicts the process that defines the strategy for management to build, divest, and enhance knowledge assets. KM initiatives are the result of the response to tactical and strategic changes and needs. The KM Matrix by Gamble and Blackwell (2001) This KM model presents a general theoretical framework, as well as specific guidelines for implementation.. The KM process is split into four stages. As all sequential models, the steps are not to be taken literally, but they do provide an excellent overview of the role of the KM manager. The Knowledge Management Process Model by Botha et al (2008) This model attempts to offer a more realistic overview of the KM process. The model further shows which of the three categories are more people oriented and which are more technology focused. Like This Story

I find the same to be true. I always inform them ahead of time of my expectations beyond the discussion though, I find this important to ensure they actually get the science or meat of the topic. by sesti Dec 22

When I incorporate videos in my lessons, students tend to understand better or get motivated to learn. Active learning impacts positively students' performance. by quijote17 Nov 13

I couldn't agree more! The video was very informative and gave me insight as to how I should incorporate this type of learning into my classroom. by jmoser Nov 4
I have to start off by saying that this video gave me goose bumps. Soooo very inspiring. As a k-12 educator, I am going to do my best arrange most of my lessons with online learning. I have quite a few students that don't have computers or internet access at home. I am willing to give up some of my time after school to allow them an opportunity to use computers.
