From the first moment we walked into the lobby, we felt the atmosphere soothing us. 16 hours of travelling, with 2 children under 4, from cool spring weather, to 31 degrees C, 97% humidity- we were ready to relax. We were pleasantly surprised to see that we had been upgraded in our room type, from garden view to a lagoon pool view (with beach view as well!!) The rooms themselves are spacious, with timber furniture and hand painted decoration. Breakfast is filling, with all tastes accounted for.

Tour Builder As we’ve worked with veterans and their family members on projects like Map The Fallen and VetNet, we’ve heard many amazing stories and seen how helpful storytelling can be. So we thought it might be useful to make a very simple storytelling tool. One hallway conversation led to a joint project between the Google Creative Lab and Google Earth Outreach, and today, in honor of Veterans Day, we’re excited to share Tour Builder—a simple tool for recording and sharing stories on a map. Though originally inspired by veterans, we quickly realized that Tour Builder has the potential be a simple, useful tool for any aspiring storyteller. You could be a high school history teacher explaining the geography of the Revolutionary War, a musician updating your fans from the road, or a grandmother who wants to share her family’s story of service in WWII. Creating a tour is easy: give it a name, add an introduction photo and a quick description.
Thailand Travel Guide - Information and Advice Why travel to Thailand? 'The Land of Smiles' offers a massive variety of assets at a minimal price - a staggering variety of incredible cuisine often served in gorgeous outdoor settings; an vibrant collection of sights, from glittering, elegant temples to colourful floating markets to lunatic festivals; local people who are more relaxed and charming than they should be under seige by a planeloads of impolite, drunk foreigners, but they keep on smiling, as the sun keeps on shining. Thailand's beaches are huge, well serviced and in settings that are often strange but always comfortable, busy but relaxed. The country has all kinds of holidays for all kinds of people on all kinds of budgets, from huts on a beach or a mountain to the best hotel in the world, Bangkok's Oriental. And the shopping is sensational - silks, tailor-made outfits in a couple of days, jewelry, wood carvings... Downsides - It has a reputation for petty thievery, but usually without violence, so just be alert. Activities

Seville: Life in Seville - helpful information for living, visit The London Guide to the top sights - Walks and Routes Plan your route around London with our walks and itineraries, for good and bad weather. Our 'Grand Itinerary' comes in two parts, which you can do in any order or direction. They intersect at Big Ben. If you have one day only in London then do them both - start early in the morning, and they'll take about 7 hours, plus a break for lunch. If you have two days take our new city churches walk as well, and make sure you see a show on the night between! Vincent, a London visitor in 2005, did our walks and has produced a set of pictures of what to expect. Our 'Grand Itinerary' takes in all the major tourist sights, while our two City walks are ideal for discovering the history of the City, and discovering its secret alleyways - many of which are not on the map! If you just want to potter round a park, see our parks guide. The Grand Itinerary (best in good weather) For walks further afield, accessible by tube, see HERE The city walks Our favourite is the church walk. The Canal The River Others
