Young Creative Entrepreneur Programme | Creative Entrepreneurship The Young Creative Entrepreneur (YCE) programme IDENTIFIES and CONNECTS a global group of emerging creative pioneers, founders and innovators. We look for people who have been in business 2 - 7 years and who are making an impact through NEW IDEAS and NEW BUSINESS MODELS and inspiring others around them through their work. Our alumni are global innovators, pioneers and leaders Since 2004, we're been selecting the “ones to watch” from creative sectors around the world and bringing them together in the UK to share ideas, insight and spark off international collaborations. In 2014 we are growing our network with new YCEs from DIGITAL PUBLISHING, LIVE MUSIC, CULTURE, BROADCAST and FASHION/ DESIGN. Some of our most inspiring alumni include: Ridwan Kamil, winner of Indonesian YCE in 2004, in 2013 elected Mayor of Bandung. Dana Kleinert won the Slovakian YCE in 2011 and went on to form the first Slovak Fashion Council.
Young Creative Entrepreneurs | British Council Colombia El programa Young Creative Entrepreneurs (YCE) premia y conecta a líderes innovadores y emprendedores de las industrias creativas y culturales alrededor del mundo. Cada año se abre una convocatoria nacional para encontrar a los emprendedores creativos más innovadores de los diferentes sectores. De esta forma, los finalistas tienen la oportunidad de exponer sus proyectos empresariales frente a un jurado. Al final, el ganador tiene la oportunidad de asistir a un evento de gran relevancia para su proyecto, realizar una visita guiada con el objetivo de relacionarse con los demás ganadores del programa en otros países y una red global de líderes creativos de la industria en el Reino Unido. Hemos establecido una amplia red de líderes creativos en varios sectores que varían desde guionismo y composición para películas hasta proyectos innovadores de bookvertising y música digital. Centenary Scholarships Scholarships are awarded to international students studying a masters or doctoral degree who have demonstrated academic excellence and the desire to improve education in their own country. Existing IOE alumni around the world include education ministers and ministry officials, politicians, authors, university presidents and international development organisation officials. We are confident that our Centenary Scholars will be equipped to follow in these footsteps towards positions of influence for positive change.
