Continuous Pencil by U Jung Heo, Young Gag Han & Sa Yoeng Kim
Never Ending Pencil To cut a long story short, what we have here is a simple writing tool called the Continuous Pencil, which can be used till the very end. We usually end up discarding pencil stubs…I know my children waste too many saying that short pencils are uncomfortable to hold. So basically you keep increasing the length of your stubs with a handy interim-headless-long stick that fits snugly into its rear. Quite simple and straight, but is it a refinement of the 1 + 1 Pencil? Designers: U Jung Heo, Young Gag Han & Sa Yoeng Kim

The Sensu Brush: An Artist's Brush for the iPad | Design Blog Artist Hardware, a group who usually designs products for other companies, has decided to develop a project of their own. They're using Kickstarter to fund the production of the Sensu Brush, a true artist's brush for the iPad. And since the iPad is portable, the brush should be too, right? They designed the handle for dual function—to reverse as a cover with a stylus on the end. Sensu Brush was developed using a new conductive fiber technology originally developed for cosmetic brushes to better release fine powder particles when the brush came in contact with the skin. Moleskine Art - The Doodle Masterpieces For those who didn’t know about this till know Moleskine is a brand of notebooks, planners, diaries, sketchbooks and albums manufactured an Italian company. Moleskine notebooks are typically bound in coated paper cardboard, with an elastic band to hold the notebook closed, a sewn spine that allows it to lie flat when opened, cream colored paper, rounded corners, a ribbon bookmark, and an expandable pocket inside the rear cover, packed in a paper banderole. Although it might be considered by some just a random notebook, this little thing has become an icon for designers everywhere. Being small and practical, a lot of people create doodles in it to pass the time, but in the hands of a person with serious amounts of imagination, these doodles can become something really cool like the examples in this article. 82 Clever and Creative Fred & Friends Products I'm sure you've come across Fred & Friend products before at your local indie store and might not have even known it. Last weekend I was cruising around town and stopped at an indie store only to find one whole corner of the place dedicated to Fred & Friend products. It was heavenly. I stood there for probably more than a half hour laughing and checking out all their cool stuff. A lot of creativity goes into the making of these products, and I think part of that cleverness is shown in the name of the product and the slogan. Which one's your favorite? Hilarious Split Family Portraits Cousins: Justine, 29, & Ulric, 29 Canada-based graphic designer and photographer Ulric Collette has created a shockingly cool project where he’s exploring the genetic similarities between different members of the same family. Sculptures Popping Out of Paintings Oh, to have been in Tokyo in June! Shintaro Ohata just finished up a solo exhibition at the Yukari Art Contemprary in Tokyo, Japan. This Hiroshima, Japan-born artist is known for his ability to show us everyday life in a cinematic way. He captures light in his paintings, showering the world, as we know it, with carefully placed strokes of it. More than that, this artist has a unique style. Straight from the Yukari gallery, here's a sample of his stellar work. ' Photos courtesy of Yukari Art Contemporary.

Re_Vinyl clocks by Pavel Sidorenko & Yanko Design Vinyl Record Clocks of Many Shapes Now, before I begin explaining what’s going on here, I’ve got to say that this ISN’T the first time I’ve seen someone apply the clock idea to a vinyl record. But- but! This is the first time I’ve seen someone do it so masterfully. These clocks are laser-cut to shapes that are fantabulous, wild, and weird. There’s a gun, a bird, a coffee pot, whatever you desire. In addition to the enticing nature these clocks already present, let me throw another tasty carrot into your soup: perfect uniqueness. Take a peek! *”plate” is another word for “record”, this comes from the idea that the record resembles a plate that you’d put your food on and eat off of. Designer: Pavel Sidorenko Create Something.
