They are still very unpolished prototypes, but available to play around with. Feedback is welcome. To see the applets, you need a Java-compatible browser, with a relatively recent version of Java (if things don't work properly, try checking to see if there is a newer version of Java than what you currently have installed). The Applets You may want to skip down to the brief introduction to cellular automata, or more information about the controls in the applets before you actually run them. Snowboarding Playlist 2012/2013 | WhoaSnow | Snowboarding Blog With my 2011/2012 Snowboarding Playlist getting so many hits this past year it’s only natural that we make this an annual WhoaSnow tradition. I introduce to you my 2012/2013 playlist put together on GrooveShark. The 2013/2014 Snowboarding Playlist is now available! Now you can listen to each track without searching it up on YouTube or what not. This is also a dynamic player, so as I add or remove songs this season you can follow along. I love listening to music while I board, but as I have said before, I enjoy listening to a defined style when on the mountain. Now obviously some people have completely different tastes in music, I personally listen to a much broader selection when driving or working. Want to Download this Playlist? I can not legally give out the songs since they do not belong to me… However, iTunes does carry about 60% of the songs (unfortunately some remixes are not available on iTunes). Let me know what you think!

Copacetic Pronounced /kəʊpəˈsɛtɪk/ It’s possible that this word — meaning that something is in excellent order or satisfactory — has created more column inches of speculation in the USA than any other apart from OK. It’s rare to the point of invisibility outside North America. People mostly become aware of it in the sixties as a result of the US space program — it’s very much a Right Stuff kind of word. The first stages of the flight of Apollo 10, like most of the flights that led up to it, have gone like clockwork. Chicago Tribune, 20 May 1969. But even in the USA it doesn’t have the circulation it did thirty years ago. One suggestion that’s commonly put forward is that it was originally a word of the African-American community in the USA. A more frequent explanation is that it derives from one of two Hebrew phrases, hakol b’seder, “all is in order”, or kol b’tzedek, “all with justice”; it is suggested these were introduced into the USA by Yiddish-speaking Jewish immigrants.
