Thompson Books Hunter wrote this essay in 1955 for The Athenaeum Literary Association’s bound yearbook, it won third prize in The Nettleroth contest. Great writing for a 18 year old, and makes for a funny read too. Young people of America, awake from your slumber of indolence and hark-en the call of the future! I say there is no excuse for a feeling of insecurity on your part;there is no excuse for juvenile delinquency; there is no excuse for your attitude except that you are rotten and lazy! This girl, lets call her Ashley, was so much fun to be with. I could completely geek out on her about whatever new game was coming out and what TV series we were plowing threw on Netflix. Avatar was coming out and she was so excited to see it, talked about it everyday and yeah the movie looked really cool. It was about a week before the movie and it was time to ask her, do or die. A long time ago I decided to make use of an electronic scrabble dictionary by using it to build an anagram dictionary. Anything with that many words is going to show up on a huge number of web spider searches. No Title Hi! With this little message, the file is not only coming up eventually in a fair proportion of all searches, but it also had a summary that aroused people's curiosity. I had no intention of experimenting with the web or trying to lure web users into my den. It's interesting the number of anagrams that are fitting: Eternity and entirety, backward and drawback, discern and rescind, demand and madden, comedian and demoniac, American and cinerama, aspirate and parasite, oldies and soiled, lust and slut, to name a few of many hundreds. abbe babe abed bead bade abel elba bale able bela abet beat beta bate abhorred harbored abhorrer harborer abides biased able abel elba bale bela abler baler blear blare aces case

Jesus said, “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” One of the disciples asked, “What of the man who builds his house inside the house built on the rock? Surely his house will be even less damaged by water and wind. And Jesus said, “No, don’t do that.” At that time a man said unto Jesus, “Jesus! Jesus said, “The Father’s kingdom is like a shepherd who had a hundred sheep. “Wait, what?” And the man became a pillar of salt. “It doesn’t matter,” said Jesus. “But what do you think about this?” “The first!”
