& so we sum it up & I don’t understand your point. If you are saying “I am…” cannot be followed by a noun, you are wrong. I am a person. I am the mayor. “Person” and “mayor” are nouns. Although, saying “I am single” would make single an adjective, saying “I am a single” implies that it is a noun. Jumping Rope Workout Routine - Jump Rope Cardio Workout We’ve always admired Fergie’s body—she’s toned without being crazy-muscular. That’s why we listened up when she spilled to Rachael Ray about how she stays in such great shape. According to the Black Eyed Peas singer, the secret to her great bod is jumping rope. We’ve heard that before—Eva Mendes, Adriana Lima, and Kate Hudson swear by it, too. They’re definitely onto something says Scott Katzenstein, a certified personal fitness instructor for Equinox (Fergie also works out with an Equinox trainer, btw). He told us jumping rope is one of the best cardio workouts you can do—and it burns 15-20 calories per minute. He recommends this simple workout to snag a Fergie-like bod. •Jump rope for one minute at a comfortable pace •Do 10 push-ups •Jump rope for 30 seconds at a fast pace •Do 20 squats •Jump rope for two minutes at a gradually increasing the pace •Do a plank for 30 seconds •Repeat all the steps four times Our favorite part of this routine (besides the fab results)?

TIPPED OUT - thebeautydepartment.com all photos: Kristin Ess + thebeautydepartment.com post designed by kristin ess Lots of emails this week asking for a tutorial on Lauren’s temporary bright colors. Here I’ve replicated the process for you in 7 steps on an extension. While I never recommend bleaching out the ends of your hair at home, if you want to do the fun colors yourself, maybe get the tips bleached out by a pro + then play with the temporary colors on your own. TOOLS: highlighting comb, clips, foils, color brush, hair bleach with the appropriate volume (always seek a professional when using bleach), light pink color, dark pink color, light blue, dark blue, clear gloss. Step 1 Highlight the tips of the hair using hair bleach with the correct volume. Step 2 Fold up your foil and let it process until it reaches a pale blonde. Step 3 Shampoo and lightly condition bleach out of the hair. Step 4 Blow hair completely dry. Step 5 Place the hair on a foil. XX Kristin Ess Related posts:

Here is a DIY guide on how to tie a draped skirt.
