Une sélection et une galerie de 28 images, disponible dans la suite. 24 Lever Street - The Neighbourhood After a lengthy journey to find our (not so) new home in 2010 we discovered 24 Lever Street, a century old ex-factory building in the Northern Quarter that had sat empty for several years due to fire damage. As one of the first tenants in the newly refurbished building (more on our role in that story here), we were keen to help market its potential to a new breed of creative companies. In collaboration with Various Artists and Digital Blah Blah we created a new identity for 24, along with a website and promotional print material. The identity was designed to be flexible, using different combinations of illustrated 2s and 4s to juxtapose the historic (Grade 2 listed building) and the ultra modern (highest broadband connectivity available in the area). Wanting to appeal primarily to creative companies, we avoided a traditional property brochure instead producing a newspaper to be distributed in local bars.
Natasha Lawes ‘ I am truly part of the Blue peter generation, I just love making and decorating, whatever the medium or subject. My father the late David Lawes, was a Scenic Artist working for theater companies such as the Royal Opera House & ENO and this wet my appetite for working with many mediums, production design & all things theatrical. My interest in Tech-effect costume also blossomed from a young age when he worked with the amazing costume designer Eiko Ishioka. My mother was a brilliant potter, and that inspired me to work with clay, to sculpt & to model make. Mike Piscitelli « Whitezine Mike Piscitelli was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Not a typical photographer, he started work right after School and got hired as an assistant on pornographic movies. Ironically he got attracted by the video gear and got a passion for images and movies. He then started a career in New York, working as a photographer for different magazines such as Dazed & Confused, Another and ID Magazine, where he shot celebrites such as Bar Refaeli, Oliver Stone, Maroon 5, & Eva Herzigova. After that he came back to Los Angeles with one and only aim, make it as a video maker.
