The Therapeutic Experience of Being Suspended by Your Skin - Wyatt Marshall The 5,000 year history of the "art" comes down to physics, spirituality, and risk. A man suspended in Lviv, Ukraine [Pavlo Palamarchuk/AP] A woman lies face down on a massage table. She is tended to by five men wearing surgical masks and gloves. The men aren't wearing scrubs, though, and elaborate tattoos are visible on three of the men's arms. The woman goes by the name Trigger. This is a little music video I made to footage of some of my suspensions. The rest of the video, after the piercings, shows Trigger suspended. "Really beautiful, thanks for sharing," one commenter wrote. Tearing of the skin can, and does, happen, but it's almost never the sort of dramatic freefall that someone watching a suspension for the first time might imagine. "Hey, just wanted to let you know that I am finally going up!" One simply asked, "Why?" People have been hanging themselves from hooks for perhaps 5,000 years. "And this was just the ultimate stress release. "Skin is pretty strong," Dr. Dr.

Olivier Le Deuff Cléo Dubois Cléo Dubois was an early member of the San Francisco Leather community and is now a BDSM educator, writer, documentarian, ritualist, and personal trainer in the kinky arts. Known for her fiery style and body-spirit-heart connection, she's become one of the most respected of the early practitioners. Dubois is a guest lecturer or teacher at the Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality, Society of Janus, The Exiles - San francisco, an invited speaker at San Francisco State University, and University of California, Berkeley. Early life[edit] Born in Paris, Dubois was raised Catholic in an oppressive patriarchal family[1] that was filled with classical music and opera. Late in her teens she rejected her family's values and those of the church. BDSM Player & Ethical Domina[edit] Dubois was an early proponent of "Consensual Informed Erotic Power Play". Ritualist[edit] Educator[edit] In 2002, Dubois started leading erotic dominance intensives for women, with her partner Sybil Holiday.

3l3ctr0nLibr3 (3l3ctr0nLibr3) Sion Sono Sion Sono (園 子温, Sono Shion?, born December 20, 1961) is a Japanese filmmaker, author and poet. Feature filmmaker[edit] After receiving a fellowship with the PIA, Sono made his first feature-length 16 mm film in 1990, Bicycle Sighs (Jitensha Toiki), a coming-of-age tale about two underachievers in the perfectionist Japan. Sono co-wrote, directed, and starred in the film.[1] In 1992, Sono's second feature film The Room (Heya), also written by himself, was a bizarre tale about a serial killer looking for a room in a bleak, doomed Tokyo district. Current projects[edit] In 2005 he wrote and directed Into a Dream (Yume no Naka e), which also released as a novel later on, and was a coming-of-age tale much in the style of his first film Bicycle Sighs, about the life of a theatre group member and his quest to find who he is. At the end of 2005, Sion Sono also premiered a personal project with actors Issei Ishida and Masumi Miyazaki. In 2008, he was the director and writer of Love Exposure.
