Digital fortbildning för det utvidgade kollegiet Med anledning av det förslag på en satsning på ett digitalt lärarlyft som Anna-Karin Hatt presenterar kan vi nu meddela att Skollyftet beslutat att ta en aktiv roll för att fler lärare ska kunna använda digitala lärverktyg på ett bra sätt i sin undervisning. Det utvidgade kollegiet Skollyftets primära syfte är att bidra till en bättre och mer likvärdig skola genom att lyfta, ta tillvara och sprida de goda exempel och den samlade kompetens som redan finns bland lärare i Sverige idag. Tusentals lärare med olika bakgrunder, kompetenser och erfarenheter finns idag samlade i det utvidgade kollegiet, dvs nätverket av lärare i sociala medier, där Skollyftet är en av samlingsplatserna för lärarnas informella lärande. Web 2.0 Teaching Tools Tekniken steget före pedagogiken Allt fler kommuner satsar på en-till-en-projekt och internationellt står sig de svenska skolorna mycket väl när det gäller tillgången till datorer. Men en ny europeisk studie visar samtidigt att it trots detta bara används i begränsad omfattning runt om i landet. – Det är ingen tvekan om att tillgången till datorer relativt sett är mycket god i de svenska skolorna och att situationen blir bättre och bättre för varje år. Men den goda tillgången svarar inte mot ett större användande av it i undervisningen jämfört med andra EU-länder. Där ligger vi fortfarande på genomsnittet eller till och med lite under, säger Peter Karlberg på Skolverket. Studien ESSIE har gjorts inom EU samt Island, Kroatien, Norge och Turkiet. Samtidigt ligger it-användningen i både årskurs 4 och på gymnasiet lägre i Sverige jämfört med de andra länderna.
