I've switched to reusable bags and was hoping to use up the plastic grocery bags that exploded from under my sink every time I opened the cupboard door. You will need: N (9mm) crochet hook (metal or plastic) 25-30 plastic grocery bags scissors closable stitch marker large darning needle Terminology:This is what *my* abbreviations mean, they aren't exactly standard sc = single crochet st, sts = stitch, stitches 2in1 = work 2 sc into 1 st, an increase [2in1]x2 = work 2 sc in each of the next 2 sts dec = sc decrease, make 2 sts into one You can find instructions for how to make the 'yarn' and another plastic bag pattern here. A note about rounds and markers: Rounds are indicated with a marker in the last stitch of the round. I would recommend using a marker that closes, because open ended markers can easily slip out.
Birdie Decoration This is my pattern/tutorial for a hanging Birdie Decoration. A completely useless object of course, but very cute all the same. It's an easy project to make, great for using up odds and ends of yarn and can be used in all sorts of ways to bring a little good cheer. This little birdie is made in four pieces :: a round flat circle for the body, a small triangle for the beak and 2 leafy shapes for the wings. First a little summary of the basic crochet stitches :: sl st :: insert hook, yarn over, pull the loop back through the stitch, then through the loop on your hook. dc :: insert hook, yarn over, pull the loop back through the stitch (two loops on hook), yarn over and pull through both loops on hook (note :: this is equivalent to the US sc stitch) htr :: yarn over, insert hook, yarn over, pull the loop back through the stitch (three loops on hook), yarn over and pull through all three loops on hook (note :: this is equivalent to the US hdc stitch) Now you need to make a TRIANGLE BEAK.

(tuto inside) - Le scrap de Caro ou "Zpagetti, Abracadacraft et moi" part #2 ! ;) Nous en étions restés au transfert dans le panier #2 de ma collection de MT ... Mais comme je vous l'avouais, mon addiction avait joué et quelques-uns étaient en commande à droite et à gauche ... ce qui signifiait de nombreux petits copains à venir pour grossir la collection. Les voilà, les copains qui sont arrivés ... il leur fallait bien un peu de place ! Oui, je sais, c'est grave ... si vous aussi, vous avez cette addiction, faites-moi signe, vous pourrez toujours intégrer le groupe des MTA ! N'étant pas bien sûre d'avoir assez de gris pour faire mon panier à la bonne taille, j'ai décidé de faire mon panier bicolore : le fond rose et le corps gris. Pour le tuto, on repart de la même base jusqu'au rang 7 : 6 mailles serrées (ms) dans un anneau magique. Changement de couleur et j'ai formé le fond avec le gris, en faisant 48 ms dans le brin arrière et en fermant toujours de la même façon. Ce sera l'avant-dernier rang de votre ouvrage :

Oppskrift på skjerf, heklet av “Japanske blomster”. Her kommer oppskriften på hvordan du hekler “japansk blomst”. Har valgt å dokumentere med bilder og tekst sånn at det skal være lettere å forstå. Oppskriften er skrevet på en enkel måte, så den stiller krav til at du har heklet tidligere. Har ikke skrevet hvordan du begynner og avslutter en omgang, bare hvor mange st, lm, fm osv som det er pr. omgang. Jeg har beskrevet hvordan man hekler blomstene sammen samt hvordan du hekler bestmorsruten inn mellom blomstene. Håper det er forståelig………. Eksemplene jeg viser her er heklet i bomullsgarn…, selve skjerfet er heklet i ullgarn, det kan du lese mer om HER… Legg opp 6 lm, ta sammen til en ring. 1. 2. omgang: (mellom st på forrige rad)5 lm(= 1 st + 2 lm) *1 st, 2 lm* gjenta mellom **. 3. omgang: Skift farge, 4 st i hver lm bue. 4. omgang: Skift farge, start mellom førte og andre stav i en stavgruppe; *5 lm, hopp over 2 st, fm, hopp over 2 st, fm* Gjenta mellom ** rundt hele. På samme måten hekler du alle blomstene sammen.
Sac "Mamy Bag" en African Flowers - Spirou bobine ... Ces African Flowers me séduisaient tant que je n'ai pas résisté longtemps à leur appel et j'en ai fait un sac : Je me suis inspirée du modèle de Mamy Bag que nous avait proposé Cécile (voir ici par exemple) mais j'ai utilisé le célèbre motif African Flower tant vu sur la toile : Ne voulant pas rabattre les hexagones sur les anses que je voulais rondes, j'ai bordé les motifs supérieurs et de côtés de demi-brides, brides, triples brides et mailles sérrées afin d'obtenir une finition droite : L'ensemble est réalisé en Holst Garn Super Soft et aucune combinaison de couleurs ne se répète. Vue de face : Vue de dos : Après le montage des hexagones, qui a été fait endroit contre endroit, au crochet en mailles serrées afin de ne pas avoir le petit bourrelet apparent, j'ai bloqué l'ensemble à plat. J'ai ensuite doublé le sac d'un tissé japonais très doux, souple et réversible fixé au point de feston avec la même laine que celle utilisée pour border les hexagones. Bonne journée !!!

I'm so glad you enjoyed sharing my pictures :0) Here is a photo tutorial of my latest square .Quite a few you you lovelies seemed to like it . I expect there are similar patterns already in existence , but this is my own creation and thought you might like to try it ..... It's a simple pattern . The pattern is written in U.S. terms. using yellow yarn.......... begin by chaining 4 and slip stitch in first ch to join to form a ring........... ch 1 ........ and work 7 sc into ring, the space you want is the bottom space in the picture above ............ I crochet over the loose end as I make my sc stitches , that way you can pull the centre tighter with it if you want slip stitch into first sc to join and fasten off......... NOTE the next part will seem rather tricky if you are not used to making puff stitches. using white yarn ........ join into any sc and make a puff stitch like this.......... yarn over hook
