Peacock Blue is defined as "a shade of blue tinged with green." Although this color is strong and bold, it never seems to overwhelm a space. What does your old van say about you? It seems like nearly every block of Echo Park is home to an aging American-made van. Dodge Ram vans with tinted windows and bands of stripes. Ford Econoline 100s topped by ladders. Vans with teardrop shaped windows, snakeskin-like stripes, curtains and blinds. Many are mocked as outdated and some reviled because they are havens for the homeless.

Many raised important questions about the ambiguities of Barakat’s relationship with Reuters, precisely what support and instruction they had given him, and the extent to which this had or hadn’t contributed to his death. The calls for real accountability from Reuters shouldn’t end, even if to date they seem to have mostly fallen on deaf ears.
