Pepperoni Pizza Puffs Recipe TGIF, friends. Hope that you all have had a lovely week, and that a relaxing weekend lies ahead. I’m looking forward to some friend’s-birthday-celebrating, farmers-marketing, coffee-(friends)-dating, cake-baking, church-enjoying, and sleeping-inning here in my little corner of the world this weekend. OH, and the thing I’m perhaps most excited about — choir-directing. Did I mention on here that I’m leading an Easter choir at my church?! I’m kind of over the moon about it. This recipe is the second of many cookie recipes on my list to make this holiday season. Sweets are taking over my life! Just ask my coworkers. They get my leftovers, and I think they are starting to resent the way I am forcing them to eat sinful treats.

Peanut Butter Cup Chocolate Cake Cheesecake Last week I got an email from a kind reader asking if I would consider developing a recipe for one of her favorite "factory-made" desserts. The minute I clicked the link she provided, I knew I wanted to make her cheesecake dreams come true. I had concerns about how this cake would translate to real world baking. No doubt it is mass-produced with industrial equipment since it is sold nationwide at a popular restaurant chain. I knew I would have to simplify each of the recipe's elements and keep the baking equipment simple. With its many layers, the recipe I came up with is time consuming, but it will not be difficult for the home baker to execute. 5 powerful foods that help reduce blood pressure 5 Powerful Foods that Lower Your Blood Pressure Are you eating enough of these 5 amazing foods that help reduce high blood pressure? by Frank ManganoConsumer Health AdvocateAuthor of the popular book: Blood Pressure Miracle Did you know that stroke and coronary heart disease still remain to be on the list of the top three main causes of death in the USA? Salted Chocolate We’re watching our friend’s cat right now, and it’s a lot of fun. Kramer and I want to get a pet so badly, but I just don’t think that I have the time, energy, or, frankly, money, to take care of an animal the way I would like to. For now, though, it’s just fun to pretend to have a pet for a week. His name is Eddie and he’s pretty funny. My World and Welcome... Chocolate Chip Lava Cookies I am so in love with these darn chocolate lava cookies! What is it about a warm, gooey chocolate chip cookie stuffed with decadent, rich, melted chocolate that makes it so irresistible?? Especially when topped with vanilla ice cream. These are one of Kev’s favorite homemade treats, and he usually asks me to make them at least once a week. They are so simple to whip up, and such a treat! Let’s make some right now :) Make Fruit Leather without a Dehydrator! Raspberry Peach Fruit Leather I love fruit leather, but those little single packages that they sell at the grocery store are expensive. I knew there had to be a better way and thanks to Google, I found that, yes, it was possible to make fruit leather at home without a food dehydrator. I was a little bit worried when I saw people saying that it took 18 hours to make fruit leather in an oven, but it only took mine a little bit under 5 hours. Not too bad! I cut the fruit leather into strips comparable in size to the kind sold in stores and ended up with 16 of them–I spent about $4 on fruit for this recipe, so that’s a big savings over what I would have paid for fruit leather at the grocery store.
