Henslowe Celui là m’a tapé dans l’oeil depuis le début ! J’avais testé une première version du châle, avec un écheveau de fingering, comme recommandé dans le patron, en suivant à la lettre les explications. Une fois cette première version finie, j’ai du regarder les choses en face : la bordure avec un jeté n’était pas assez souple, le point de dentelle n’était pas bien déployéle châle était rikiki J’ai donc du tout défaire, et j’ai du changer de laine, pour une de mon stock qui avait plus de métrage. J’ai jeté mon dévolu sur 4 pelotes de Drops Baby Alpace Silk coloris 8108 (gris clair). En revanche, là ou mon point mousse était vraiment régulier avec la première version, je ne sais pas pourquoi, mais la nouvelle laine elle refusait d’être régulière. Edelweiss Col et Chauffe Epaules Ce fut un très grand plaisir de tricoter cette Edelweiss. Au départ , prévue pour être un grand col roulé très confortable, ce snood s'est peu à peu mué en chauffe épaules! J'ai pu apprendre à faire des côtes perlée avec maille double à l'endroit, à voir ici! Egalement, grâce aux conseils de LadyIce, j'ai appris à faire une finition en picots avec le tuto hyper clair de Barjolaine! Callaloo Soup: Tuesday To-Do | Use T-Shirt Yarn to Crochet a Basket At last here is the long overdue tutorial. Did you get a chance to make some t-shirt yarn? Here is what you need to crochet a basket using that yarn. At least 2 balls of t-shirt yarn and a large crochet hook. The base of the basket is made by crocheting in the round, and increasing each round by 6 stitches. Instructions Chain 6 Join with a slip stitch to form a circle Round 1: 2 single crochet (sc) in each stitch around = 12 stitches Round 2: 2 sc in first stitch, 1 sc in next stitch. Round 3: 2 sc in first stitch, 1 sc in each of next two stitches. At this point my work measures 5" so I will stop increasing. Round 4: 2 sc in first stitch, 1 sc in each of next three stitches. Round 5: 2 sc in first stitch, 1 sc in each of next four stitches. etc. Once the base is complete it's time to work on the sides! Side Round 1: 1 sc in each stitch around Sides Round 2---? There are a variety of ways to make the Crocodile Stitch, and I’ve attempted several of them myself. What I show here is the method that I believe is easiest. Even so, this is definitely an advanced stitch. It is like a combination of the half double and double crochet stitches, but much more visually interesting and can be worked in any number of chains or spaces! I used this stitch to make a baby blanket and warm winter hats, all of which I’m donating to Hooks of Hope, a chapter of the charity, Crochet for Cancer, which gives handmade crocheted hats, blankets, and loveys to those suffering from cancer. The abbreviation for the stitch, which you’ll see in written patterns, is FK HDC. Step #1: Chain 3 Step #2: Yarn over the hook, insert hook into the same space as the chain 3, and pull up the loop. Step #3: Yarn over the hook again, insert hook into the next space (just next to the chain 3 space) and pull up a loop. Step #4: Yarn over again, pull the loop through the first 3 loops on your hook. Points de crochet - Comment j’ai vaincu… Vendredi 4 décembre 2009 5 04 /12 /Déc /2009 23:17 C’est GigiS et son FreeForm Crochet qui m’ont fait découvrir la beauté du point de poste version crochet, le bullion de son petit nom anglais. Armée des explications en images de Bidouillette, je me suis attelée à la tâche… Mais, force était de constater que ma laine ne voulait vraiment rien savoir : impossible de passer tous les jetés du crochet sans les faire un par un ! Cela me rappelait la difficulté que l’on rencontre en maedup pour passer les cordons à tresser dans une perle. Trop heureuse du résultat, je ne peux m’empêcher de vous faire part de ma technique peu orthodoxe. Une fois ma rondelle classique de crochet servant de base, j’ai débuté le tour par les 3 mailles en l’air réglementaires, puis je me suis armée de deux crochets mis têtes bêches. C’est autour d’eux que j’ai réalisé le nombre de jetés (enroulements) nécessaires. L’opération délicate est maintenant de la faire passer à travers tous les jetés du crochet.
